                                    Retention of 3 Storage containers and retention of 2.4m high boundary fence and entrance gates, together with incidental landscaping

 

A Local Resident appeared before the Committee to present their objections to the application after which Councillor Neal presented her case to the Committee on behalf of Local Residents.

The Applicant’s Agent presented their case to the Committee on behalf of the Applicant.

Grant permission subject to the following conditions:

 

1.    This permission is for a limited period of 2 years, expiring on 24.5.2020, on or before which date the use shall be discontinued and the land reinstated to its former condition, to the satisfaction of the Council as Local Planning Authority;

 2.   The development shall be carried out in accordance with the following drawings: drawing 2 'existing and proposed site plans with landscaping boundary treatment details';

 3.   The containers hereby approved shall be used for the storage of domestic - (non- hazardous) items only. Deliveries to and from the site shall occur only between the hours of 10.00-16.00 Monday to Saturday and at no time on Sundays;

 4.   Notwithstanding the provisions of drawing 2, the landscaping element is not approved; and

 5.   Within two months of the date of the decision notice, a revised landscaping scheme, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority in writing. The landscaping scheme shall make provision for an all year round evergreen hedge to be planted directly behind the fence line on Atherton Street. The landscaping shall be carried out within the next available planting season following the issue of this decision notice. The planting shall be maintained for a minimum period of 2 years. Any hedging plants which die or are removed within that period shall be replaced by similar species at the same planting density unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority.

1.     All applications for reserved matters must be made within three years of the date of this decision notice and development must be commenced before the expiration of two years from the final approval of the reserved matters or, in the case of approval on different dates, the final approval of the last such matter to be approved;

2.    No development shall take place until details of the following reserved matters have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Council as Local Planning Authority: Access off Lords Fold, Appearance, Landscaping, Layout and Scale.
